I'm incredibly excited, and a little terrified, to announce that I've committed to a massive personal challenge: tackling the 2026 Swansea Ironman 70.3! But this isn't just about crossing a finish line; it's about making every single mile count for a cause that runs deep in our family's heart: Desmoid Aid UK.

For those who may not know, our lives, and especially Agne's, changed profoundly in 2023 with a diagnosis of three Desmoid tumors. This rare, often aggressive disease has brought with it immense, daily struggles. Agne faces chronic, severe pain, transforming simple day-to-day tasks into monumental battles.

Yet, in the face of this adversity, she has shown a strength that is nothing short of heroic. Agne has never, and will never, give up. Her unyielding determination, quiet perseverance, and sheer courage amaze me every single day. She is my inspiration for every stroke, every pedal, and every step I will take.

I’m dedicating the 1.2-mile swim, the 56-mile bike ride, and the 13.1-mile run to her and to the essential work of Desmoid Aid UK. They provide critical support and fund research to shine a light on this condition.
