Story
Hi all, my name is Liam and I have challenged myself to complete the IronMan 70.3 which is known as the half IronMan in Swansea on the 13 July 2025.
It was a spur of the moment idea and despite my busy life style working shifts full time, being a father to three young boys and a husband - Any spare time I have is going towards my training for the IronMan and as you can imagine the training is very intense, the number of hours and miles that has gone into my training so far has pushed me to my limits. So, I just want to thank my family, friends and colleagues for being my biggest supporters throughout.
All my training will all be documented below via strava.
Being a father, I am taking this opportunity to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. Therefore any donations to my target would be deeply appreciated and all the hard work worth it.
For those who are not aware the half IronMan consists of:
• 1.2 Miles (1.9KM) Swim
• 56 Miles (90.1KM) Bike ride
• 13.1 Miles (21.1KM) Run (Half Marathon)
Your donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
Just completing this event would be a monumental achievement!
I just want to thank you all for taking this time to click my link and having a read. If you’re in a position to donate I will be so grateful. No matter how small the donation is, it all adds up.
Thanks so much for your support.
